The OB-1600 provides a gentle 15-degree self-lateral rotation through specialized air cells that inflate and deflate in a smooth, wave-like pattern. This continuous motion shifts the patient’s weight from side to side to help relieve pressure points, improve sleep, stimulate circulation, and reduce the risk of developing bedsores. It is especially beneficial for patients who cannot comfortably turn themselves.
Patient-Centered Safety Design
This mattress includes a sinking design that lowers the surface by up to four inches to help keep the patient safely centered. Combined with a patented 4-inch guardrail, it creates an eight-inch deep soft barrier that helps prevent falls and increases stability during alternating-pressure therapy and self-lateral rotation. Fowler & Seating
The OB-1600 includes a Fowler and seating function that provides additional support in the torso and seat areas when the head of the bed is elevated.
