The Heart Behind At Home Care Supplies

Julie A. Corbett, Ph.D., MBA
Founder and Chief Commercial Officer

Professional expertise. Personal caregiving experience. Compassionate guidance for your family.

Choosing home-care equipment is rarely just a shopping decision. It often happens while a person or family is navigating illness, aging, disability, recovery, or a significant change in independence. The right product can affect someone’s safety, comfort, dignity, and quality of life, which is why knowledgeable, compassionate guidance matters.

I founded At Home Care Supplies to help individuals and families make these important decisions with greater clarity and confidence. My approach combines professional education, years of caregiving experience, and a genuine commitment to understanding the needs of each person and family we serve.

Education and Professional Expertise

I hold an MBA in Health Care Administration and a Ph.D. in Psychology, with a specialization in Mental Health Policy and Practice.

My education has given me a broad understanding of health care systems, patient and caregiver needs, psychological well-being, and the many factors that influence quality of life. It also shapes how I evaluate home-care products, not simply by their features, but by how well they may support comfort, safety, independence, and everyday living.

Caregiving Is Personal to Me

My understanding of caregiving extends far beyond my academic background. I have spent years caring for patients and family members and supporting people whose lives have been affected by illness, aging, disability, and changing care needs.

I understand how overwhelming it can feel to make important decisions while also managing appointments, medical concerns, family responsibilities, financial considerations, and the emotional demands of caregiving. I also understand that a product that works well for one person may not be appropriate for another.

These experiences are at the heart of At Home Care Supplies. They are why I believe customers deserve to be heard, treated with compassion, and given clear information before making a purchase, especially when selecting specialized equipment.

Guidance You Can Trust

When you contact At Home Care Supplies, our goal is not simply to sell you a product. We want to understand:

  • Who will be using the product
  • What challenges they are experiencing
  • Which features are most important
  • Where and how the product will be used
  • What questions or concerns the family may have
  • Whether the product appears appropriate for the person’s needs and circumstances

If we believe additional information is needed before you make a decision, we will tell you. If a product does not appear to be a good fit, we will be honest about that as well.

Helping You Make an Informed Decision

At Home Care Supplies offers carefully selected home-care, mobility, comfort, and safety solutions for individuals, families, and caregivers. We also offer personalized guidance through our Guided Care Studio™, where we provide in-person or virtual consultations and demonstrations of select equipment available in our studio.

You do not have to navigate an important equipment decision alone. We are here to answer your questions, help you consider the available options, and support you in making a thoughtful, informed choice for yourself or someone you love.

If you are here because you are caring for someone you love, or because your own needs are changing, I want you to know that you are not simply another customer to us. I understand how personal these decisions can be and how much you may already be carrying while making them. I would be honored to listen, learn what matters most to you, and help you find a solution that supports greater comfort, safety, independence, and quality of life.

Your partner in home care,

Julie
